Why buy a dining table from us ?

Ok so you've decided that you want to buy a "real timber" dining table, not one of those pristine finished tables that you see in the big furniture stores that are usually made from a soft wood, a rain forest timber or a veneered timber. And aside from that, lets face it, they are just not durable, they might look good now but in six months time, twelve months time ................ need I say more.

And yes maybe there are some "Aussie hardwood timber" tables in some of those stores, but if they're pretty cheap there's a very high likelyhood that they were made in China. Unfortunately Australia does ship over thousands of cubic metres of some of our eucalypts to China where the Chinese make up cheap tables and basic entertainment units out of it and in cheap finishes I might add, to sell back here to the unsuspecting customer who's in the market for some "real Australian hardwood furniture".

So what's our story ?

We custom make (and design) quality dining tables from a big range of eucalypt timbers that are sourced from old dead trees on private properties or from old buildings that are being pulled down and we sell them directly to the user, there's no middle man. We are passionate about our indigeneous timbers and we only use timber that would otherwise be wasted.

So in a nut shell, we design them, we make them and we sell them. All the value is in the product, you're not paying for inflated timber prices, you're not paying for big glossy ads in national magazines and you're not paying for big city overheads and wages. And we have well over twenty five years experience in doing it.

We pride ourselves on making tables that are going to be around for a very long time, for generations in fact , especially if the table has been finished in our 100% natural oiled and waxed finish.
