Not just another days work

Welcome to our new website only launched late Dec 08. Now this is where I'm supposed to use lots of nice warm and fuzzy adjectives to describe our furniture such as "timeless appeal" - "exquisite craftsmanship" - "exotic timbers" but I'm afraid I'm just not into all that.
I do this for a living because I am really passionate about the raw material we use - Australian hardwood timbers and designing making Australian hardwood furniture is what I really love doing and it's why I look forward to coming to work everyday.

I love looking at a new red gum table that's just been oiled and polished and admire the intricacies of the grain patterns and the natural features, every hardwood table is different and has a story to tell, they are true works of art and that's little to do with our part in creating it because most of it is mother nature's handy work. As you will see, most of our designs are fairly clean and simple which lets the beautiful timber be the main feature in the piece.
We use many different indigenous timbers as long as they are hard and tough timbers. In my opinion, a hardwood dining table really needs to be made from a dense timber like our eucalypts to withstand the rigours of daily family life for generations.
