The timber in this Axil table, although not recycled does
have the appearance of being recycled. We like to use timbers that
have 'character', they're timbers with a story.
This design is extremely functional with the ability to seat extra
guests opposite a leg comfortably when there is a need to and
depending on top width, in most instances chairs can be tucked in
opposite a leg when not in use which is a great benefit.
If you love this top but would prefer a black leg, that is
possible at a small extra cost.
Spotted gum would have to be our most popular Aussie
hardwood species. The colour tones in spotted vary so much which
is a big part of its appeal. They can vary from deep browns to
light grey/browns and even into fairly blonde tones
sometimes. We go to great lengths to create a top that is
balanced and visually appealing as this top is.
